Cllr Alan Muhammed

Councillor for Stoke: Covering Bellfields, Slyfield & Weyfield

Alan Muhammed is one of the two ward councillors for Stoke, covering Bellfields, Slyfield and Weyfield. Alan is the Shadow Finance Spokesperson for the Guildford Liberal Democrat Borough Council Group. He is on the Community & Health Scrutiny Committee & Licensing Committee. He is also a member of the T-Government working group.

Alan has a strong record of action as a local campaigner. He campaigns for better children's facilities, to reduce crime, to protect our green areas and provide affordable homes for families as well as on issues such as human rights, most recently leading in a campaign to protect the people of Darfur in Sudan.

Alan is the elected Vice Chair Finance for the youth wing of the Liberal Democrats: Liberal Democrats Youth and Students.
